Column menu

In the column menu (hover over column header to see the menu bars) you can:

  • Pin the column left or right or no pin

  • Autosize the selected column

  • Autosize all columns

  • Group by selected column

  • Filter column (funnel symbol)

  • Select/deselect columns from view (vertical bar menu)

Customising a grid

  • Choose the columns which should stay in the layout by selecting/deselecting column menu. To remove a column without using the menu, drag the column outside of the grid and let go.

  • Re-arrange columns by dragging a column along the grid to where they are wanted.

  • Columns can be pinned to the left or right of the grid, either pin the column by using the column menu or drag them over to the left or right if there are already columns pinned.

  • Save the grid layout by clicking the "save layout" button in the grid footer. This layout will now be used for this user/device.

  • Reset the layout of the grid by resetting it in the column menu ( in some of the grids the layout can also be reset in the grid footer).

Row Sorting

Sort rows by column by clicking on the column header. click once for ascending, next click for descending and next click removes the sort. To sort by multiple columns hold down shift while clicking the column header. N.B. if dates need to be sorted use row grouping or row filtering.

Row Filtering

filter on column level by going to the filtering menu in the column menu. The filter symbol will display on the column header.

Row grouping

To set row groups, drag the column which is used for grouping to the group drop-zone at the top of the grid. Any number of columns can be grouped. The number between brackets indicates how many rows are in the group. To see the rows in a particular group expand the group be clicking on the arrow(>) beside the group.
