Operative Event Parameters

Create/Update bulk or single operative event parameters

Search for existing operative event parameters

Use the search fields on the left to find existing operative event parameters by:

  • Individual Operatives

    • select 1 or more operatives from the operatives drop down

    • to deselect an operative click on the operative again

    • use search box at the top of the drop-down to find an operative quickly

  • Bulk Assign Group

    • select 1 or more groups from the bulk assign group drop down

    • to deselect a group click on the operative again

    • use search box at the top of the drop-down to find a group quickly

    When searching by bulk assign group it is also possible to specify the following

    • Pseudo or not

    • Employment Group

    • Employment Type

NB. Searching for Individual Operatives will block the possibility to search for Bulk Assign Groups and visa versa. To switch between searching for Individual operatives and bulk Assign group and visa versa do one of the following:

  • Deselect all the operatives or groups you were searching for

  • Click the reset button at the top right hand side corner of the page

Specify a date range

Specify a date or date range to see event parameters for those dates.To select a single date double click the specific date. If no date range is specified all existing events of the operatives will show once clicking search.

Results

Results will show in a table below the search options panel. Only fields that are explicitly changed are shown in this table and otherwise will be blank/0. Select an event by clicking on its row, the fields below the table are filled with the details of the selected event.

Bulk Assign/Update Operative Event Parameters

Do the following to bulk assign/ update operative event parameters:

  • Select operative/s OR bulk assign group/s from the drop down.

  • Select a date or a date range.To select a single date double click the specific date.

  • Optionally click search to see if any events exist already.

  • Set at least one of the event parameters on the right.

    • If setting a 'Max Booking Time' the 'Max Time On' field should also be set.

  • Click save

Events will now have been created or updated. Click the search button to see newly created events on the table, existing events will have updated on the table, if the table was already visible.

Updating single Operative Event Parameters

Do the following to update an existing single operative parameter

  • Search for the operative event as described above.

  • On the table, select the event which needs updating.

    • the fields below the table now contain the information of the selected event

  • Change the fields which need updating

    • when leaving the 'Max Booking Time' or 'Number of Mobile Jobs' blank, no changes will be made to the existing event's 'max time' or 'mobile jobs'.

    • When leaving the 'day start time' or 'day end time' blank, the 'day start time' or 'day end time' are set back to the default hours of the operative.

  • click the update button.

  • The event is updated, the table is refreshed and the updated details are shown on the table.

Alerts

Alerts will be given for the following scenarios while creating/updating events:

When not selecting an operative or bulk assign group while trying to save event parameters When not selecting a date or date range while trying to save event parameters

Required Fields Missing Selection of Operatives or Bulk Assign groups with date range is required

Trying to save the Max 'Booking Time' without setting the 'Max Time On'

Required Fields Missing If Max Booking Time is being set, 'Max Time on' needs to be set to either Y or N

When an event has been successfully saved or update

When saving/updating failed
